Led by co-founder Matthew Ong — a President's Award for Teachers recipient and TEDx Singapore speaker — the organisation is staffed by international award-winning educators with 15+ years of experience and advised by educators from Harvard Graduate School of Education and the National Institute of Education, Singapore. Learning Playground personalises every learning quest, uses the Spring! app to enable self-paced study with rapid feedback and close coach supervision, emphasizes authentic critical-thinking outcomes, and gives students the opportunity to publish creative work in an annual publication.
