Sunbeam Aquarium is a Singapore-based wholesale exporter of ornamental freshwater and saltwater aquarium livestock and aquatic plants. Founded in 1972, the company supplies distributors, wholesalers and retailers in at least 40 countries across Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and Australasia. Its catalog comprises nearly 1,000 species — including freshwater livebearers (platy, molly, swordtails, guppies), angels, gouramis, marine fish, crustaceans, molluscs and soft corals — sourced from its own breeders, a network of collectors, and international suppliers. Sunbeam operates a 10,000 sq ft wholesale and quarantine facility at Chencharu with 6,000 glass tanks, dedicated systems for different biotypes, modular saltwater systems and separate koi quarantine rooms. The company controls density packing, runs three packing stations to minimize transit time, and manages destination documentation to ship healthy stock up to 48 hours away, delivering livestock ready to be sold out of the box.
